💧 Water Booth – “Give Your Bear a Drink”
Goal of the Booth | Help children learn how important water is for keeping our bodies—and our bears—healthy and strong.
Bible Verse | “He leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul.” — Psalm 23:2–3
Booth Setup
- Fill the large water bucket before the event begins.
- Set out empty cups for families to use in a line.
- Place the bear-shaped container at the end of the line as the final goal.
- Have towels nearby for spills and cleanup.
How the Booth Runs
- Welcome children and families warmly to the booth.
- Explain that families will work together to move water down the line, cup-by-cup, to fill the bear-shaped container.
- Give each family member an empty cup.
- Encourage teamwork, laughter, and careful coordination as water is passed along.
- Once the bear container is filled, celebrate their success together.
- When the activity is complete, place a star sticker on the child’s completion circle in their passport.
Conversation Starters | Use simple questions like:
- “What do you like to drink when you are thirsty?”
- “How does water help our bodies?”
- “When do you feel most thirsty during the day?”
- “How can your bear stay healthy and hydrated?”
Key Teaching Points | Volunteers can naturally share simple facts like:
- Water helps keep our bodies cool and hydrated.
- Drinking water helps our bodies work and think well.
- We need more water when we are active or playing outside.
- Water helps give us energy and keeps us feeling good.
- Water is also important for cleanliness—like washing our hands and bathing—which helps keep us healthy and prevent sickness.
- Choosing water is one of the best ways to care for our bodies.
