Overview
Washington State is currently experiencing significant atmospheric flooding, resulting in localized flooding, infrastructure impacts, and displacement risks for affected communities. Conditions remain dynamic as rainfall patterns and river levels continue to be monitored by state and local authorities.
Our Response
Seventh-day Adventists in Washington are actively coordinating preparedness and response efforts in alignment with state and federal partners. At this time, we are accepting cash donations only to ensure flexibility and rapid deployment of assistance where it is most needed.
Coordination & Capacity
We maintain an active Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with VOAD and FEMA, enabling us to support donation warehousing and distribution during declared emergency disasters. This partnership positions us to scale operations quickly upon authorization.
