 Ritchie Hammen TRS-S is health director at Bellevue SDA Church and a public health student. He has a B.S. in PE from Walla Walla University and is a certified Mobility Specialist with The Ready State, with over a decade experience as an endurance athlete and multiple training courses in health and preparedness. He has taught on topics including stress management, wilderness survival, and cancer prevention. His passion is to equip humans with the actionable knowledge needed to live with selfless resilience and tangible hope.

Born in Silver Springs MD to a  and Black and Dominican Family.  Moved all around the world in places like Hawaii (Kaneohe SDA), Sumter (Berea SDA), CPC (SDA), etc. James also has his BA in history with and minor in Professional Education(UWF).  Also a Masters in curriculum and instruction (Gifted)(ASU).  James is also a retired military Special Forces veteran.  With several tours to various locations.  (Iraq, Colombia, Peru, Mexico, etc).  James is a member of Emerald City SDA church in Seattle.
