SAGE YOUTH EVANGELISM

CHIAPAS, SOUTHERN MEXICO
December 26, 2010 - January 9, 2011

Seniors in Action for God with Excellence (SAGE) wants to select four applicants from high school/academy or college age youth to go to Mexico on an evangelistic crusade. Youth who attend public schools or small Seventh-day Adventist schools are encouraged to apply along with academy and church school students as well. These four students will be accompanied by experienced SAGE mentors, who will also be holding evangelistic meetings using “Share Him” evangelistic materials.

SAGE wants to take on this evangelistic challenge because we believe that mentoring today’s youth in evangelism will provide them with a life-changing experience, as illustrated by several youth who have returned from such experiences and now want to hold evangelistic meetings in their own home churches.

SAGE believes that by involving today’s youth in evangelistic preaching we will not only strengthen their attachment to the church, but also promote their parents’ knowledge of the SAGE organization and its values and their anticipation of joining in its activities when they reach “SAGE age” in a few years.

A portion of their expenses, yet to be determined, will need to be covered by themselves or their church family and a good portion by SAGE. Following this letter is a 3-page application to be completely filled out and returned to SAGE at the Washington Conference, 32229 Weyerhaeuser Way South, Federal Way, WA 98001. After carefully considering each application, SAGE will decide on the four youth and will be in contact by June 2010.

If you have questions, please call SAGE President Bob Grady at (360) 668-2314 or (206) 819-2266 or Joan Libby at (253) 681-6018.
